GRM Info Center is the general query interface to GRM Tax
displaying data about Revenue Objects, Tax Bills and Legal Parties.
It is the perfect tool for today's "information worker," and when
coupled with Manatron's Enterprise License strategy, any County
employee who is granted access to GRM can use Info Center to
instantly access any information on a given person or
property.
GRM Info Center provides extensive information to the user
regarding Property Tax and Tax Bill information including
assessment values and tax roll information such as: Legal Parties,
Parcels, Business Accounts with Business License and Tax
Information and Personal Property Accounts with personal property
asset and motor vehicle information. In addition, it provides the
ability to search based on many different attributes including
situs and mailing addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, PIN,
Owner and Tax Bill, summary views as well as the ability to drill
down to detailed information and links to maintenance and
correction functions (which are security-based.)
GRM Tax provides the ability for property tax collection officials to provide fast, accurate and superior customer service through an unlimited event log and transaction history which chronicles every transaction and event associated with a specific property. Search filters provide quick access to the needed information which includes notes with key words to augment clarity of records.
The GRM Tax high speed processing of batch remittance files from
lenders, individuals and other institutions increases productivity
and accuracy, as well as the interest accrued from faster
reconciling and deposits of revenues.
Reports can be pre-scheduled to run in an unattended setting-no
longer tying up workstations-and to provide e-mail notification and
delivery when files are complete.
For faster and complete processing, users have the ability to configure the I/O file outputs to automatically reformat errant-a mortgage company file for example-or incorrectly formatted files, without having to return the original file for correction.
Through the GRM Records module, GRM Tax allows data to be collected once, and automatically populated into other integrated systems including: property assessment, records management and eGovernment. This increases productivity and accuracy, while eliminating redundant entries and duplication errors.
In one central location, GRM Tax provides supervisors with fast and accurate continually refreshed visual data of office and staff activities. This includes a breakdown of the collections in real-time by location, source and service, as well as other activities including tender details by session for a selected location or till. This allows supervisors to make immediate decisions such as leveling workloads between departments or offices. This type of data is stored and can be looked at over time to help recognize office trends and make important business decisions, i.e., where is my walk in traffic coming from, or where should I open another branch office?
GRM's integrated database - Records - when coupled with Manatron's innovative GIS-based tools, allows for greater consistency, analysis and interpretation of data. All data can be shown overlaid on maps, allowing users to spot trends by geographic areas, such as delinquencies and foreclosures. Additionally, this tool can utilize outside sources such as census data to create maps that may aid in making important business decisions. For example, one might show delinquent taxes along with primary language spoken in the home-this could show a need for a bilingual tax bill to bring delinquencies down. This can also assist with forecasting revenue for the taxing authorities, taking into account foreclosures, delinquencies and appeals.
The GRM Tax unlimited history feature provides a historical view of all transactional data, including a year-to-year comparison of collected revenue. This is critical for spotting various trends and the development of projections, future planning and providing robust customer service to constituents who need historical tax information.
